God loves you, and He desires that you do not perish. This means you do not have to be separated from Him because of your sin, and the consequences of your sin which leads to death. You can choose life, receive His love, be reunited with Him, and come to know the God who loves you. Jesus has already made payment for your sin – why not make things right with God?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
You know how to lovingly convict us our sin, and to convince us of our need for you. Forgive us for our foolish ways. We have blocked you, and rejected you, thinking that we are wise in our own eyes. Open our eyes to see our need for you. Only you can save us, and only you can restore us into a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father. Amen.
