Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. (Zechariah 4:6)
When a man takes a position by force, it is never God’s desire for his life.
I remember Chuck Swindoll telling me in one of his messages that “if its part of man’s will it’s forced, but if its part of God’s will, then it flows.”
Prayer:
Father,
Help us to be led by your Holy Spirit today. May we desire to delight ourselves in you, knowing that you will give us the desires of our hearts. Forgive us for seeking to satisfy the desires of our own flesh. Rather, help us to trust you by committing to you in prayer whatever we desire, knowing that you are faithful to provide us with everything we need. Thank you, Father. Amen.
Thanks for this prayer, David!

Yup, I’ve seen the difference.
Thanks, Tom! I am glad that you can testify about this, too. 🙂
