Freedom Prayer

Announcing God’s Freedom:

Jesus of Nazareth gives you freedom, for His Spirit sets you free from your sinful nature which leads to death, and since Jesus has set you free, you are free indeed to discover this new life in a relationship with Him.

His freedom gives you the confidence to approach God by faith, for you are no longer burdened by the yoke of slavery connected with your sins. His announcement changes your place of residence, for where you were once a slave of darkness compelled to sin, and now you are a child of the Light, walking in wide open spaces.

So today, celebrate and give thanks to God for your freedom in Jesus Christ. Hold his banner of freedom high, for you can testify that you were once lost, but now you are found, you were once blind, but now you see.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus,

I celebrate my freedom with you, for you have given me the gift of forgiveness for my sins, a fully restored relationship with my Heavenly Father, and the presence of your Holy Spirit to guide my life. Thank you for being so generous to me. I have done nothing to deserve it. Your gift of perfect love is casting out my fear, giving me hope for my future, and reassuring me that your constant presence will always satisfy the inner desires of my soul. Amen.
