At the end of the day, this is a good question to ask yourself.
Today, we were busy dealing with my Mom’s affairs. I dealt with the funeral director, and the insurance broker, while my wife and my sister started going through my Mom’s things at her home. Fortunately, we were able to gather about 15 bags of clothing, towels, facecloths, and bed linens and deliver them to a local charity.
In the midst of all of this, did I remember to pray? Yes, I remembered to pray about the food we ate. As we gathered together, we came together for a common purpose of nourishing our bodies and enjoying each others’ company.
So, tonight, think about where you saw God ministering to your needs today, and give Him thanks for His provision.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
As we look back on today, may you show us where you were, and how you moved in our lives, to remind us of your continuous presence, and your constant provision. Amen.
I am deeply sorry to read that you lost your mother. May your memories fill your heart and mind with peace and happiness until you see her again.
Thank you!
