Some photographers are able to capture the essence of light shining through the darkness. Light appeals to our sense of well-being, as it gives us glimpses of hope for the future. It speaks of life not death, peace not turmoil, and love not fear, breaking into whatever seeks to distract us.
Everyone one of us can be drawn into God’s light through faith in Jesus of Nazareth, because He is the true light, and as we follow Him, He promises to set our path straight. For His Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. (Psalm 119:105)
God call us out of the kingdom of darkness, and into His wonder light, for His light exists so that others might see our good works, and glorify our Father in Heaven.
Have you made fellowship with the Light?
The light of God exists as a Person, made manifest in the flesh, namely through Jesus of Nazareth Himself. He is the absolute, definitive Light of the world, and by Him all things are seen. That’s why nothing in the time ahead will remain hidden, for nothing will be able to block His return.
We are made in God’s image in order to enjoy complete fellowship with the Light. Why not embrace the Light of God through acknowledging your sin, and accepting God’s forgiveness, so that you can change your direction, and be found in Him?
When the Light of God convicts us, then He offers us life, instead of death, freedom instead of bondage, and forgiveness instead of condemnation.
May you help us to recognize your light, so that we can embrace your freedom. Your freedom delivers us from condemnation, gives us the opportunity to receive your life, and to walk freely as a child of God. Amen.
