As you get ready for Sunday, may you prepare your heart to meet with God. Give Him your full attention this morning, as you sing and enter into worship. As your focus is set on Him, ask Him to remove any distractions that get in the way of you fully entering into His presence.
As you meet with Him, thank Him for all that He has done for you. He has delivered you from the kingdom of darkness and presented you as perfect within the righteousness of His own beloved Son. There is no greater privilege than to be called a child of the Most-High God, whose sin has been forgiven, and whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Let the Holy Spirit bring you to life, this morning as you fix your eyes on Jesus of Nazareth. Allow the Father to pour out His love upon you, as He immerses in His grace, reminds you of His mercy, and lets you see the blessing of His faithfulness towards you.
Ask Him to renew you in your mind, with the teaching of His Word, and to soften your heart, wherever He is leading you. As you surrender your life once again before Him, may He raise you up, and continue to work within, and through you, for the glory of His name.
May it be your desire to remain firmly rooted and established in Jesus of Nazareth. He is your chief cornerstone and your firm foundation, and apart from Him you can do nothing, but with Him, you can do all things, because He is the One who strengthens you.
Be blessed in His wonderful and most precious name. Amen.
