Last night, my wife and I were rudely woken up by two amber alerts. It happened around midnight when we were both sound asleep. Our phones, which had both been previously turned off, were somehow mysteriously turned on without our permission.
I realize that people go missing, and it is important that the public is made known, but when do such notifications cross the line, and start invading one’s personal space?
For us, such alerts, have no personal boundaries, nor formal consent. If we have turned off our notifications, please don’t disturb my sleep, nor the sleep of my loved ones.
Just saying, that next time someone tries to override your personal space, stand up and say something about it. As far as I know, it is not only common courtesy to not disturb others, but a violation of one’s privacy, if it is done without their consent.
Feel free to leave your own comments, and let us know about your particular thoughts on this issue.
I pray that you would intervene and stop those individuals who seek to override the personal space and freedom of others. Please continue to remove
